April 19 – PCS Weekly Bulletin #5

A Few Notes for the PCS community:

A reminder about the great resource that mypcs.ca is becoming…
Thanks to the hard work of many of our staff,  MYPCS has become the ‘go to’ place for information about what’s happening at PCS during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Additionally the Ministry of Education has created a number of excellent resources to help at this time:

A Note on Communication:

Over the past month we’ve been working hard to deliver on our promise of an education that nurtures students in “Christ-like living, critical thinking and joyful service to be faithful citizens in God’s world.”

We’re committed to living out this calling despite the changes around us.

Over the past weeks, I’ve seen tons of hard work, creativity, and commitment from our staff. I’ve also experienced again what an amazing community PCS is. In the midst of what is exceptionally difficult time for many, I and other staff have received repeated confirmations of your prayer support. We are committed to travelling this road together. We’re working hard to more effectively share some of the things we are doing to continue to live out our vision and mission. If you haven’t done so, I’d encourage you to follow some of our journey on our Facebook, and Instagram accounts.

Communication though is a ‘two way street’. We know that this has been a big transition and it has and continues to be difficult for many. Some of the things we’ve tried have worked amazingly well; but others have been less successful or will take time. We want to listen to your input.  Over the next few weeks, I’m hoping to create a number of short videos that respond to questions, thoughts, and concerns from our community. Watch for details in this week’s Thumbnail.

Blessings,
