Keyano Peninsula

Although some of the Covid-19 protocols have changed for schools, the Keyano Bus Services will continue to follow the cleaning and disinfecting guidelines set out by the BCCDC, Transport Canada, and PCS’s Communicable Disease plan to ensure the safety and well-being of all our passengers. To that end, we will be:

  • Disinfecting the interior of the busses daily.

  • Requiring drivers to wash/disinfect their hands regularly and wear a mask according to current protocol.

  • Requiring Grade K-12 students to wear non-medical masks or face coverings.

  • Hand sanitizer provided to all riders as they board the buses before and after school.

  • Strictly enforcing assigned seating that prioritizes students sharing a seat with a member of their household where possible.  In addition, the order in which students get on and off the buses will be considered to limit the contact with fellow riders.  The seating arrangement can be altered whenever necessary to support student health and safety (e.g. accommodating children with a physical disability, responding to behavioural issues, etc.).

  • Maintaining up-to-date passenger lists to share with public health should contact tracing need to occur.
